Polyurethane (PU) is our origin and our passion. BBG started out with the production of moulds and mould-carrier systems for the encapsulation of passenger-car sunroofs. Now we already use polyurethane in an ever-increasing number components, applications and industries.
Polyurethane (PU) can be used
- to encapsulate and reinforce glass components in passenger cars and commercial vehicles, such as glass lids, windscreens, rear windows, backlights;
- to produce mouldings;
- to foam stable body parts with class A surfaces of a very high aesthetic quality;
- to encapsulate solar modules, photovoltaic modules, hybrid modules; to maximize their energy yield and, at the same time, to protect cables, lines and electronics against corrosion and ensure ease of assembly – thanks to the Solar-PUR-Flush technology developed by us.
- to encapsulate, stabilize and protect high-performance heat-insulating standard windows that are suitable for use in ultra-low-energy houses and feature a depth of 90 mm only.
We developed TopTherm 90, the first PU window frame profile.
We support you in component design, produce the requisite tools, moulds, mock-ups and prototypes, and offer all services, machines and equipment for series production. As a single-source supplier, we will assist you in project planning, the installation and commissioning of equipment right through to the training of technicians and, of course, also with our worldwide customer service.
